Well the big ouch came and went. We were at the hospital for the removal of her molar at 6:15 as suggested.....although we didn't have to be there until 6:45 I found out once we arrived.
A few issues occured regarding not checking in and signing up for surgery. We were told to go wait in the waiting room....but weren't told to check in at any time.
Anyways....my drama queen who can't tolerate an eyelash in her eye or a hang nail and bursts into tears and "I can't handle this" melt downs....went with the nurses in a pink wagon with her bunny "Pip", and blankie, waved a few times with a smile and that was it. They also took out her wiggly tooth.
She was a little emotional when she came out of the anesthetic, and didn't want to drink or have her Popsicle. Once we got home theoigh she ate my whole muffin.
She was really brave. I'm so proud of her. The tooth fairy dished out big time too
I was shocked! No tears, no "Mommy don't go"....nothing. She took 2 days off of school to recover and only took pain medication (Tylenol) for another day. We gave her a new necklace for her bravery, pink, sparkly, and very much something she loves.
